TOWN OF SARATOGA
NOTICE OF A SPECIAL TOWN BOARD YEAR END AUDIT MEETING
The special year end audit meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Saratoga will be held in a remote format on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in accordance with CDC in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
The meeting will be open to the public via ZOOM access. Access: Meeting I.D - 441 700 9460 and Code is TOS2020#2.
The Town recently received from Saratoga County a shipment of several hundred KN95 masks. Several have been distributed at locations including Schuyler Manor, the SAFER Food Pantry, Village of Schuylerville Office, and local churches There is a table in the lobby of the town hall where residents may pick up masks for their family and friends. We ask that you take only what you need.
It is anticipated that COVID 19 Test kits will be available soon dependent on their release by the state.

A public hearing will be held on proposed Local Law #1 of 2021 to allow the Town of Saratoga to op-out of the on-site consumption license provisions of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act/NYS Cannabis Law.

Zoom Town Board Meeting June 14th at 6:00 p.m. The meeting ID is 441 700 9460 and the password is TOS2020#2 The preliminary agenda will include town officer reports, recommendation to purchase of a dock for the boat launch, applying for a state grant for trail development, and recommendation to change the term of office for the highway superintendent from four years to two years. The town will not be able to offer swimming lessons this summer because the summer camp was not able to hire a certified water front director.
The first meeting of the Core Group Comprehensive Plan Update committee will meet using a ZOOM platform Thursday, April 22,2021 at 6:30 pm. The primary focus of this comprehensive plan update is to focus on the agricultural and farming component and implement some of the suggestions made in the town agriculture and farmland protection plan as suggested by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. The town worked for over a year and one half with several public meetings and also worked in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture and Markets. The meeting is open to the public but this first meeting is for the core group to identify topics and concerns. There will be opportunities for public input in future meetings. A special zoom town board meeting will be held at 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm on Thursday May 20, 2021. Following the opening of the meeting the board will go immediately to executive session to discuss a personnel issue. Following the executive session the board will go to public session and appoint Michael Galcik as temporary deputy zoning officer and then adjourn and no action will be taken during the executive session.
