Text Box: Sincere Greetings to Everyone!
My name is Tom Wood and I am the newly elected Supervisor of the Town of Saratoga.  This will be my first experience in an elected public office and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that the supervisor position will present.  Previous to this I served as a school administrator and teacher.  One of my goals as supervisor is to expand communication between the town government and all of the residents of the town.  One means by which I hope to accomplish this is to publish a monthly newsletter that will inform everyone of town issues and of upcoming events.  On the back of this and all future newsletters will be a monthly calendar listing the town meetings that are scheduled.   In addition there is an expanded town web page located at www.townofsaratoga.com that will provide the minutes of all town meetings as well as all ZBA and Planning Board meeting minutes.  In the future, meeting agendas and town manuals and documents such as the new Town Comprehensive Plan will be added.  E-mail addresses and telephone numbers of town officials will be posted.  I may be reached by telephone at the town hall at 695-3644 or at my home at 695-6780.  My e-mail address is twood71098@aol.com.  I am looking forward to meeting each of you and working together in a productive and cooperative manner.   Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,  Tom Wood
Retiring Town Officials
