ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS DRAFT MINUTES

January 28, 2019

 

 

Chairman William Moreau called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and led the flag salute. 

 

Chairman William Moreau welcomed everyone to the meeting and proceeded to review the Rules of the Board.

 

Zoning Clerk Linda McCabe called the roll: Chairman William Moreau – present, Clifford Hanehan – absent, Thomas Carringi – present, Clarence Fosdick – present, Christopher Benn – present, Nicholas Schwartz - present, Steve Mehan - present, Alternate Member Mark Sullivan - present.

 

Due to the absence of Board Member Clifford Hanehan, Alternate Member Mark Sullivan was elevated to full voting status.

 

Also present: Zoning Officer Gil Albert, Attorney William Reynolds.

Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Clarence Fosdick, seconded by Christopher Benn, to accept the meeting minutes of November 26, 2018.   Chairman William Moreau – aye, Clifford Hanehan - absent, Thomas Carringi - aye, Clarence Fosdick - aye, Christopher Benn - aye, Nicholas Schwartz - aye, Steve Mehan - aye, Mark Sullivan - aye.

Carried  7 - 0

Applicant seeks a 2.9 acre variance for agriculture pursuits; the Applicant has a 1.18 acre parcel and a 5.92 acre parcel.

 

Seeing as the Applicant was not present, the Board decided to wait an additional 10 minutes to see if he would appear.

 

The Board discussed the application with Attorney William Reynolds and Attorney William Reynolds told the Board although he will be away next month they can contact him with any questions or concerns on cases before them.

 

Old Business: Christopher Benn questioned if there was anything new with the Witt subdivision; Zoning Officer Gil Albert responded they've heard nothing yet.

 

New Business: Board Member Nicholas Schwartz will be out of town next month and will not be able to attend the March meeting. 

 

A motion was made by Clarence Fosdick, seconded by Nicholas Schwartz, to adjourn the

meeting at 7:12 p.m.  Chairman William Moreau – aye, Clifford Hanehan - absent, Thomas Carringi - aye, Clarence Fosdick - aye, Christopher Benn - aye, Nicholas Schwartz - aye, Steve Mehan - aye, Mark Sullivan - aye.
