Applicant is requesting an area variance to move the lot
line between two parcels that he owns in order to construct a garage on a
currently non-conforming parcel. That
parcel would then become a conforming parcel, but the adjacent parcel, which is
now conforming, would become non-conforming.
The density in the area will not change and no further subdivision will
take place. Although one lot is already
substandard, the resulting non-conforming lot would be more non-conforming than
the currently existing non-conforming lot.
